This past summer, I was at work one morning when I glanced out the front windows and noticed several Porsches pulling into the parking lot. I managed to step out for a few minutes, and as I was checking out a couple of GT4s, this GT3 RS pulled in. The owner of this has one of the best Porsche collections in the world (he has nearly every collectible Porsche ever produced) and I had never seen any of his cars in the wild prior to this morning. Would have been cool if he was in his purple 918 Spyder, but I'll have to catch that some other time lol. All of the cars drove off moments after I took these pictures.

This was bittersweet to post because it brought back some tough memories relating to someone at that job. I can't believe this is the second ultraviolet purple GT3 RS that I've caught in the wild, these are very rare here and especially so in this spec. I hope I can catch some of his other cars, because he and/or his son own an example of almost every limited production Porsche ever built. They recently got a 935 and drove it to the local Cars & Coffee about a month ago, and had some of their associates bring the third production 911 R, a 997 Sport Classic (never sold in America), and genuine 1984 Rothmans 911 SC/RS that they also own.

@LucasH the owner is one of the most notable Porsche customers in the world. I have heard (not sure of its validity) that he has a direct contact with someone at Porsche's headquarters in Stuttgart, who will arrange and ensure production of any car he wants to buy, and he always gets one of the first (if not the first) production examples of any car he orders. He is also friends with Magnus Walker and some other notable Porsche enthusiasts. Hoping to catch one of his 959s someday!
