I found this Porsche 550 Spyder replica driving around downtown Greenwich tonight (10/12/2026). I have been seeing this one at local car shows for years, however I've only seen it out and about a couple of times. To be more specific, this is a Thunder Ranch 550 Kit based off of a Volkswagen Beetle. The owner had built this with their father according to a VWvortex forum thread. I can't imagine how scary this is to drive in normal traffic haha.
