I found this 2010 Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG W221 parked at Putnam-Northern Westchester BOCES on 4/21/2015 back when I went to school here for half the day. This is NOT an S 65 like the badges state as the plate comes back to an 2010 S 63. Why the owner would lie about having a V12 when he/she already has a powerful V8 under the hood is beyond me.

Lol I've had a similar instance! About two months ago I spotted a 997 Turbo with a Turbo S badge on the rear. The funny thing is, the badge isn't even centered properly! Upbadging is honestly so stupid, especially when the car you're upbadging is already a performance car.

@EZ73 here in the US, people put AMG badges on non-AMG Mercedes. They think that by having the AMG Appearance Package on their Mercedes, it some how makes it a true AMG. It's not an AMG without the V8/V12 under the hood along with the other internal performance features, sorry. And don't get me started on the people who put those badges on BASE Mercedes like come on dude...

@Rivitography Yeah I know about those, and tbh that's the extent I know about upbadging, so I was quite surprised to see upbadging on a Porsche (which I spotted in the US btw).
