Another one from the archives. I found this Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG S W212 parked at John Jay High School on 10/10/2015. I haven't seen it since. The plate now comes back to a 2010 Toyota RAV4. I don't even want to know what could have happened to cause such a massive downgrade.

Cool car! US Plates are personal? Meaning that the RAV4 owner is the same of this car or can be a different person?

[@JACK888 Turin Spotter] yes, US plates are usually personal and it's more than likely the same owner who own(ed) both cars. When getting a new car, people have to the option to transfer the old plates from the previous car to the new car or get new plates entirely and turn in their old plates to the DMV.
