This is a Maserati Merak that has been customized as follows:
Custom BBS style wheels (versus Campagnolo magnesium wheels)
Painted front bumper (oem is chrome)
Flared in front spoiler (oem for the Merak SS is a black front spoiler that looks added o n - pre SS cars did not have a front spoiler from the factory)
Ferrari 328 style painted louvers in the front hood (oem is black)
Rear wing spoiler similar to the Ferrari 328
Rear hatchback similar to the Maserati Bora (oem is a flat panel with non structural flying buttresses)
Rear fenders have been flared more than oem
oem = original equipment manufacturer (Maserati in this case)
IF, it has the original motor it would be a 3 liter V-6 with a Citroen 5 speed transaxle (it is a mid engine car built from 1974 thought 1982 with a total of approximately 1840 being produced - these are rare cars)

Also, the antennae is bounted on the roof while oem was mounted in the front right fender.
