I am often in the same place at the junction of 3 roads for me the best place .
You have to park at the parking lot "Sainte Bernadette " on the Avenue de France . ( free ) next to the Casino.
By Annecy is not Monaco ...the best for me it is Geneva ( Swiss ) at 45 mn of Annecy.
